Game Previews

Hope everyone had a very happy and stomach filling Thanksgiving. Today is Black Friday so it's time to take a break from looking for all those great deals and to read this week's game previews. It's also rivalry week so these games determine who has bragging rights for the next 365 days.

#9 Colorado vs. #22 Utah: If the Buffs win they clinch their division. What coach Mike MacIntyre has done in Boulder is miraculous and he deserves to win coach of the year. He's changed Colorado from just a school with a really cool mascot to a school with a really cool mascot, and a good football team.

Writer's picks: Unanimous Colorado

#14 FSU vs. #15 Florida: I don't really consider Florida a "southern" state. Yes, its definitely the most southern geographically on the map I passed first grade I know where it is. But, its not like South Carolina, Georgia, or Mississippi. To me it gives off an Arizonaish vibe. Just a weird state with weird people. You might be asking what this has to do with football and the answer is absolutely nothing! But, now you know how I feel about Florida.

Writer's Picks

James: FSU

Palmer: FSU

Cole: UF

Jake: UF

#1 Alabama vs. #13 Auburn: This is the best football rivalry in sports. Don't @ me OSU or Michigan fans. These fans can't stand each other. No other rivalry has caused more damage to oak trees than this one right here. Not only do these people hate each other they go to the same churches, schools, and work in the same offices. They can't escape each other. That's what makes interstate rivalries the best.

Writer's Picks

James: Auburn (against my better judgement)

Palmer: Bama

Cole: Auburn

Jake:Bama

#2 Ohio State vs. #3 Michigan: It's gotta be a pain marking out all those m's on Ohio State's campus right? Ohio State plays well at home. Michigan has a very good defense, but they're playing without their starting quarterback. This one should be good.

Writer's picks:

James:OSU

Palmer:OSU

Cole:OSU

Jake: Michigan

#4 Clemson vs. South Carolina: The one most of our readers care about. Clemson has no room for error after stupid Pittsburgh so this is a must win. Will Muschamp somehow got these Gamecock's to bowl eligibility, and they would like nothing more than to ruin Clemson's season. Key to the game is turnovers. South Carolina is +10 in the turnover department while Clemson is -1.

Writer's picks: Unanimous Clemson

Upset of the week:

I'm 2-0 on my upset picks just sayin. #18 West Virginia is only a 6.5 point favorite on the road at a terrible 3-8 Iowa State team. The Mountaineers are angry after last week and will by more than 7.
