Our Origin Story
Welcome to Bench Reviews! Hopefully we're able to brighten your day up a little bit, inform you on college sports, and make you laugh. Bench Reviews is an idea I came up with one day while I was trying to study, but just couldn't because freshman chemistry is probably the most boring thing on the face of the planet. You might be wondering why the website is called Bench Reviews. If you know me personally you know all about my world famous #benchreviews. For those of you that don't know I spent a lot of time on the bench during basketball season on Friday nights. Valuable time that I wish I could've been doing literally anything else except maybe freshman level chemistry. So one game I decided to have a little fun and write reviews of all the benches I sat on. I thought it was a dumb idea and no one would care what I had to say, but it took off.

The tweet above was one of my most popular. It got viewed by over 1100 people. I was shocked. Now granted, a bunch of those views were pissed off catholics who didn't appreciate my appreciation for there nice bench and I actually got some nasty texts about it, but it's whatever I got my name out there. So I was thinking hmm I love college football maybe I could write about it. So thats how Bench Reviews was born. But five minutes after it's birth i encountered a serious problem. I didn't know a whole lot about college basketball. Luckily, Palmer Morris does and when I asked him to help he gave me a very enthusiastic sure! So I will be handling the college football part and Palmer will handle the basketball part and hopefully this isn't a complete failure. UPDATE: Cole Bensch will be covering the NFL for Bensch Revie... I mean Bench Reviews.
